Director of Communications
Job Description:
The nation’s most active public interest law firm litigating election law, voter fraud and
integrity issues is seeking a public relations specialist to further expand its presence and program. This is a
hands-on, position with opportunities for national media appearances. Position requires generating earned
media, active reporter pushes, writing of opinion articles, expanding communications reach, social media,
and developing creative opportunities to advance accurate and informed information about voting process
and election integrity.
Salary:
Salary commensurate with experience, with range at $65,000 to $135,000. Favorable health, dental,

Old Town Alexandria, next to King Street Metro station
Required Skills and Experience:
Applicant should be an excellent written and oral advocate who is
blessed with the gift of clarity, persuasiveness, and flair in written and oral communications. Most important
attribute is being a self-starter who is relentless in campaigning to media. Preference for candidates with
experience in generating media interest in stories, speaking to reporters and moving a story from inception
to broad public attention. Preferred experience is also required in generating and moving content to widely
consumed media platforms including newspapers, websites, and podcasts. Knowledge of federal and state
election processes is considered extremely advantageous but not a prerequisite. Applicants must be
imaginative, creative, and prepared to generate and execute media efforts with a high degree of individual
initiative.
