Kenosha County Eye covered the Make Elections Great Again (MEGA) Act, which would create requirements for how states manage elections.

J. Christian Adams, president of the Public Interest Legal Foundation and a commissioner on the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, said the bill clarifies state obligations under the National Voter Registration Act, particularly regarding the removal of ineligible voters from registration rolls. Another supporter, Justin Riemer of Restoring Integrity and Trust in Elections, said federal election laws have long hindered states attempting to strengthen election security.
