Ken Blackwell: They cannot gaslight us into BELIEVING VOTER ID IS RACIST

Published On: September 29th, 2021

States like Texas and Georgia have passed legislation to include identification requirements with mail ballots. Stacey Abrams and others have charged voter ID laws as racist and the new Jim Crow. PILF Board Member Ken Blackwell joined OAN’s The Real Story to fight back against this characterization. He argued that identification requirements add to the integrity of the count and increase voter confidence in elections.

Voter ID laws are extremely popular. 8 in 10 Americans support Voter ID laws including the majority of African Americans.  Voter ID is not Jim Crow. It is basic election integrity.

The Department of Justice is suing the state of Georgia for their election integrity law. They claim Georgia legislators passed the law with the intent of hurting black voters. The Foundation has filed a motion to intervene to help defend the law from the DOJ’s baseless lawsuit. Watch the below video to learn more about the case.
